Decluttering

Not much here to write about but I added a couple of new blogs to my link list. I've only read a few pages of the 911 blog but I found it to be hilarious. It reminds me of the type of thing that may air on Jay Leno. I know that he does Headlines which always makes me laugh but I think he also does a 911 one. I love Jaywalking too - I cannot imagine that they can find so many "not too bright" people out on the street. Makes you wonder about the people on the street when you're walking by...And it's not that I can stay up too often to watch Jay Leno - but when I do and those segments are on, I really enjoy them. I usually don't watch the rest of the show though.

Another is a Make and Take blog - just so that I can feel more inadequate as a mother. If I feel so inclined, I may even utilize some of these ideas! But, I thought that many of the ideas were cute nonetheless.

When the kids were in school, I raided their toys and sent a lot of them to Goodwill today. What an accomplishment! They won't even miss it. I have to do this when the older two aren't here because I want to make progress. When they are here, it's an act of futility trying to declutter. Since Brennen has no knowledge of what it meant to pile things in the box, he happily continued to watch Caillou.

What I'd love to do is declutter Lad's stuff. He has a room upstairs full of clothes, PLUS in our room he has filled a nine dresser drawer full of more clothes...in addition to those things, he piles clothes on top of the dresser so that both the TV and stereo are no longer visible. Most of his clothes haven't seen the light of day in years but he insists on keeping them. Everything I own is in one closet. Oh, and to top it all off - he keeps a couple of items in my closet too. Go figure!
