Beach Day!

Yay! The kids were craving the beach for so long! Since we had Prez Day off...we obliged even though I'm not a beach person. I guess it's all good if the kiddos enjoy, right?


Dallen loved his boogie boarding. He helped Austen at his shoreline attempts too.

It was a beautiful day. So much so that Lad couldn't pry his behind off his beach chair. What?!! That meant (so not a beach person) Mommy had to go into the water with Brennen and Chyler. What's up with that??? Luckily, the little ones get water-logged pretty quickly and are happy to be sand people. Brennen found a hole someone else dug and abandoned then proceeded to have a sand war with his brothers.


This is what memories are made of, I hope!

It's Concrete Day!

After so many months, it really should be a holiday of some sort. Anyway, we finally got our concrete slab poured today. It's interesting how they do it. I always thought it was runny like cake batter that they pour into a mold. But, it's like brownie batter that's a bit thicker that they have to move around in order fill in the holes. A whole crew of guys makes the job about 3 hours long. Voila!
